Not felt, 12 years has M. Nur K. Amrullah know Yatim Mandiri. He first got to know Yatim Mandiri while still working in Surabaya in 2007 as a teacher in one of the elementary schools. "At that time I also invited fellow teachers to help orphans under the auspices of Yatim Mandiri," he recalls.
In 2010, the man who is familiarly called Amru moved to Yogyakarta and was accepted to work at STPN Yogyakarta. Although far from Surabaya, Amru did not want to break up with Yatim Mandiri.
So he was looking for contact information for Yatim Mandiri in Yogyakarta. "Alhamdulillah, it turns out that there is an Independent Yatim here. Finally I continue to be a donor here," he said.
Amru also invited his fellow lecturers and staff at STPN to care for orphans. Amru invited him verbally, also putting Yatim Mandiri Magazine on his desk. "When someone reads and asks questions, then I explain," he added. Every month, Amru and his colleagues collect donations at the reception desk.
Besides donating regularly, STPN has also synergized with Yatim Mandiri in the Ramadhan Masjid Campus program since 2012. "Alhamdulillah, eight times already, we always hold Yatim Mandiri. In the future, we would like to invite all mosque worshipers to care more about the orphans and the poor with the special infaq box in this mosque," he concluded. (grc)
