Sincerely, we do and do anything only with the intention to achieve Allah SWT. Not for anything. And not for anyone. Sincerity is the key to accepting worship and charitable charitable forms.
Although the value is great in human eyes, the charity is meaningless in God's eyes, if not accompanied by sincerity. However, as little as virtue is in the eyes of men, when coupled with sincere intentions, he is of great value to God.
Notice his words in the Qur'an, all affirming sincerity. "Say, my prayer, my religion, my life and my death are for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds." (QS Al-An'Am: 162).
In the QS Al-Bayinah: 5, God asserted that the early ummah (the Ahlul kitab) were also taught to sincerely in their books. Why? Because, the sincerity of the true religion is true.
To the Messenger of Allah, Allah SWT asserted, "Verily, We have sent down the Qur'an to you with truth. So, worship Allah by sincere obedience to Him. Remember, only Allah is pure religion. "(QS Az-Zumar: 2-3).
The following Hadith illustrates the horrible in the long journey of the Last Day to the pious and visible figures in his physical appearance as a holy man. The first to be tried in the court of God is the dead in the war (martyrs). When asked, he replied, that he fought to martyrdom. It was said to him, "You lie! You fought with intentions so that you are brave, and people have mentioned it. What happened? He is also dragged and put into hell fire ".
Secondly, the scholars, the Quranic instructors, and the redeemer of the people. When asked, he replied, "That I am looking for knowledge and teaching it. I also teach the Quran ". Then it was said to him, "You lie! You seek and teach knowledge with intentions to be said to be pious, and to those believers. " Then what happened? He was treated equally, dragged and cast into hell.
Third, wealthy and generous. When asked, where the treasure was used, he replied that he had infused it for the people. Then it was said to him, "You liar! You do it with the intention of being called generous, and people believe it. " Then what happened? He was ordered to be thrown into the abyss of hell.
It turns out that many charitable virtues, even depleting property, sweating sweat and blood, but then being wasted and untidy. Even responded with the punishment of hell, because it is not accompanied sincerely.
Therefore, let's put our virtue in the holy space called sincere. Do not be afraid when our actions are unknown or not praised by people. Because the praise of the masses does not mean when God rejects it. But, be afraid when our deeds are rejected by God because they are not sincere.
Say a hadith, "If any one of you do a good thing in the midst of a very deserted sahara, in a closed door without a door, that charity will surely be seen as well." (By: Ustad Muhammad Arifin Ilham)
