Learning to Make Origami with Orphans, a Sanggar Genius Tanah Tinggi, Jakarta
The excitement of orphans studying at the Sanggar Genius Tanah Tinggi in Jakarta in making origami was so visible. They enthusiastically made various origami forms that were taught by Li’liyatul Mutmainah. This activity was held on Saturday (7/13) at the Sanggar Genius Tanah Tinggi, Jakarta.
A total of 13 orphans followed happily. Some make tulips, puppets, and planes. This activity concludes the school holiday period. As stated by Li’liyatul Mutmainah, the Sanggar Genius Tanah Tinggi teacher, that this activity was a refresher before they returned to school. "We train their creativity again, we invite them to learn with a cheerful atmosphere," she said.
Sanggar Genius Tanah Tinggi is a program that has only been running for 2 weeks. Since its establishment on June 27, 2019, Sanggar Genius has attracted the attention of parents and children in Tanah Tinggi. Imran, the East Jakarta Yatim Mandiri Program Staff revealed that positive support continued to be provided by the local community.
