Muhammad Jazuli Sayudi, S.Pd.I, M.Pd.I - Mandiri for Studying at MEC
ICMBS Middle School students (Insan Cendekia Mandiri Boarding School) sit in a row on the porch of the Ulul Albab Mosque located in the Campus Independence Complex, to wait for the turn of the Al-Quran memorization deposit. In the front row, the figure carefully listens to rote. Occasionally say to justify the wrong memorization of students. He is Muhammad Jazuli Sayudi, Head of ICMBS Middle and High School Dormitory.
The name is familiar to students at ICMBS. Because for them, Ustadz Jazuli is a very pleasant person. Indeed, if seen, Jazuli has authority. Clearly clear, and a good guide. Even 7 years old, this young man born in Sumenep served in the ICMBS school. In 2011, he became a mentor for ICMBS Middle School students.
For the young man who is familiarly called Jazuli, being a mentor to orphans is a prayer granted by God. In his prayer, he asked to be able to keep the memorization of the yellow book he had learned, and would teach others. "Initially I was asked to become a mentor at ICMBS by the cleric Mim Saiful Hadi as well as to teach the diniyah of Arabic and the yellow book," he said.
The task as a mentor is not just supervising and taking care of students in the dormitory. Jazuli must be able to guide students in the field of religion, for example memorizing the Koran, teaching diniyah, and teaching keisiqomahan in other sunnah services. "Being at ICMBS taught me to istiqomah," he explained.
Appointed as Head of Dormitory
Thanks to his persistence in guiding for 4 years as a mentor, in 2015, he was entrusted to become ICMBS Middle School Dormitory Head. The greater trust must be carried by him. Initially, there were doubts, whether he could carry out this new mandate well. Especially at that time half of Jazuli's life was a student at Unmuh Sidoarjo.
"I was confused at first, the problem is that when I go to school in the morning until noon. That night I became a mentor. Finally with Bismilah, I took the mandate. I am sure God gave this to me for my good too, "he explained.
Jazuli's prejudice turned out to be true. His lecture, he lived easily. For example, when working on a thesis, the final trial until graduation. Having had such an impressive experience, he is increasingly excited and will do his best to carry out the trust of being an ICMBS Middle School Boarding House Head.
In addition, what strengthened him was that he mingled with orphans. Jazuli is an orphan. His determination was to want to empower orphans. His effort is to devote himself to ICMBS, a school for orphans managed by Yatim Mandiri.
Jazuli is an orphan by an independent Yatim. He is an alumni of the 4th generation Mandiri Entrepreneur Center (MEC). Thanks to information from his relatives, he was given advice to migrate out of Sumenep and study at MEC. Finally because of his mother's support, he enrolled at MEC to gain new knowledge and experience. "Even though it is only equivalent to D1, God willing, it can be my first stepping stone in achieving dreams," he explained.
Sure enough, MEC was the turning point of Jazuli's life. It was from this MEC that he got to know the administrators of educational institutions in Yatim Mandiri who pioneered the ICMBS school. Become a mentor, Head of Dormitory, study S1 and can take postgraduate Arabic Language education at UIN Malang, and has received the M.Pd.I title in 2017 yesterday.
Jazuli is grateful for the blessings God has given him. For him to be the Head of Dormitory and be involved in the ICMBS School is a way to thank Yatim Mandiri. By teaching useful knowledge he has learned to orphans. "With them, God willing, there will be many blessings that I get in the world and in the hereafter. Aamiin, "he concluded. (IRS)
