Free Health Examination For Orphans and Dhuafa in Lubuk Baja, Batam
Yatim Mandiri in collaboration with the Lubuk Baja Health Center, held a Mobile Health Service for orphans and poor people in Ruli Seraya Village, Bengkong Village, Lubuk Baja Sub-District, Batam, on Friday (6/28). This activity took place at the Ruli Seraya village public facility, and was attended by 17 orphans and 56 poor people, as well as the elderly.
The Mobile Health Services consist of examining blood sugar, cholesterol and gout for poor and elderly people. In addition to health checks, they are also given medicines for free. As for the orphans, they receive a nutritional package, in the form of milk, biscuits, energy, sausages and SGQ curry.
Meanwhile, the Irham Staff of the Yatim Mandiri program in Batam said that the purpose of this program was to control and know the health conditions of orphans, poor people and the elderly in the village. "With this activity, he hopes, they can find out about their health conditions," Irham said.(*)
