Flood Health Services for Orphans in Sei Mati, Medan
As an effort to prevent the spread of flood diseases that occur in Sei Mati Village, Medan Maimun Sub-District, Medan City, Yatim Mandiri Medan held a Mobile Health Service for orphans and poor people affected by the flood. This Kesling took place at Jami Al Fajar Mosque, on Friday (6/28).
A total of 40 orphans and poor people were trained by Medan Yatim Mandiri in the Sei Mati Village, Medan Maimun Subdistrict. Alternately they were examined by a health team from the Faculty of Public Health, University of North Sumatra. In order for the atmosphere not to be boring, Yatim Mandiri helped bring in storytellers from the Medan Fairytale Village to entertain children.
Not only getting free medical examinations and treatment, at the end of the event the orphans and poor people also received nutritional package packages as additional nutritional intake, in the form of milk, biscuits and sausages and SGQ curries. (*)
