Yatim Mandiri Ponorogo Indonesian Degree in Reciting Together with 300 Orphans
A total of 300 orphans and poor people participated in the Indonesian Mengaji program held by Yatim Mandiri Ponorogo, on Saturday (5/25), at the Gista Jaya Building, Kauman, Ponorogo. The event was filled with various activities. Namely, iftar together, donating orphans and praying together, the Khataman Al-Quran, as well as the delivery of prizes for the little dai contest.
"Every year in Ramadan, we routinely hold activities like this," said Saiful Azis, Branch Manager of Yatim Mandiri Ponorogo.
Azis added, the Indonesia Mengaji event was also a place to find talented youngsters. The preliminary round of the little dai race was held at the PCC Mall. While the final round as well as the awarding of prizes was held in conjunction with iftar and praying together.
"Our goal is to look for a generation that is good and can be beneficial to society. And educating children love the Koran, "said Saiful Azis.
The Indonesian Mengaji event, which was supported by Times Indonesia, was attended by Branch Manager Yatim Mandiri Ponorogo M Saiful Aziz, Danramil Kauman Captain Inf. Yudho Bintoro S. Yudho, Kauman AKP Police Chief Nyoto and donors. (*)
