Health Services for Flood Victims in Ciputat Village, Bandung
Yatim Mandiri Bandung held Mobile Health Services (Kesling) for flood victims in Ciputat Village, Baleendah District, Bandung. The Kesling activity was held at Al Atam Mosque, and was attended by 50 communities consisting of orphans and poor people, as well as the elderly.
This Kesling activity is carried out to anticipate the arrival of post-flood disease. The activity was opened with health education, and environmental hygiene. Then it was followed by a free medical check-up and a nutritional package for orphans and poor people.
Meanwhile, Edi Santoso, Bandung Yatim Mandiri Program Staff said, Kesling is an education for the people of Ciputat Village, in order to maintain post-flood health. "Many diseases come after floods, so we prevent no disease," he said. (*)
