Welcoming Ramadhan, Yatim Mandiri Holds Social Service for Orphans and Dhuafa on Panjang Island, Banten
On Sunday (21/4), in commemoration of Kartini Day and welcoming Ramadhan, Yatim Mandiri Banten and a cross-professional organization held a social service for orphans and poor people on Pulau Panjang. The social services include health counseling, mass circumcisions, free examinations and treatment, pregnancy checks, sports equipment, and the introduction of tourism awareness to surrounding communities as a support for a sustainable economy.
While several cross-professional organizations, including Yatim Mandiri Banten, Banten Provincial Health Office, Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Banten, Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI) Banten, Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) Banten, Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI), STIKes Faletehan, the Indonesian Red Crescent social institution (BSMI), and Explore Serang.
Meanwhile, according to Dr. Atep Supriadi, Sp. EM from the Indonesian Doctors Association, that this cross-profession social service agenda is held almost every month. "In addition to health services, we also provide education on clean and healthy lifestyle. So that the people we go to maintain personal hygiene, and the environment in which they live. Especially if you want to carry out Ramadhan services, "he said.
According to Wahyu Ifan, as the Head of Pulau Panjang Village, he would like to thank as much as possible to those who have come and provided health services, as well as assistance to the community of Pulau Panjang. "May God repay all of your kindness," said Wahyu Ifan.
